I've seen other retailers do this and was looking for the best option to do it in M2. We typically send quotes to customers who then call to make payment over the phone. I'd like to implement a process where we can have our e-commerce team member fill up a shopping cart on our website with the products the customer needs, then email a link to that pre-populated shopping cart so the customer clicks the link and opens the cart (already populated) in the web browser so they can complete the purchase.
I looked for extensions that might do this but not sure I'm searching for the correct terms to find what I'm looking for. The only thing I've really found is "Share Cart" extensions that allow customers to share their cart via email and social media. Is that the best option to accomplish this? And then maybe I can limit it to only certain usergroups so only our e-commerce admins can use it?
