Wishlist like Amazon

I'm looking for a wishlist extension that allows a wishlist to be shared and products on the wishlist to be purchased for the wishlist owner without knowing their shipping address. Preferably, the shipping address would also be hidden from the purchaser, but that may not always be necessary for our purposes. In fact, in most cases it may be beneficial for all concerned to see where the order is going since we plan on using this to allow customers to purchase products for non-profit animal rescues (we're a dog collar company).

I haven't used it personally, but it looks like it will meet with your overall requirements, and it's in the Magento Marketplace, so it's undergone review by the Magento team. I don't know the developers (Magenest), but they are Magento Business Solution Partners.

Thanks Robert! I looked at their page and though I didn't see the functionality I'm looking for listed explicitly, it makes sense that a gift registry would more likely offer it than a wishlist. In any case, I contacted them and will follow up with their reply.

Yeah, I think that for a pre-built extension, it's as close as you'll get to what you described... at least out of the Magento Marketplace. There are other extensions out there, but I try to suggest extensions in the Marketplace because they've been reviewed and vetted by the Magento team.
