Hi @dangousa,

What is the site URL ?

Could you third party developers have made the static blocks hard-coded, meaning to change-able by admin ?

Hey @KentChr_DK

Thanks for the reply.

If the static blocks are hard coded dose that mean i need to acces a special screen to access it? I am currentlly logged in as the admin and have acces to the "cms" tab, there are some static blocks which i can see and some which I can not.

Also there are some that we had on the old site that are still visable in that tab but not on our live website.

url: lasttango.us

The big banner is visable and i have no problem changeing out, but the smaller ones underneath are the ones i cant find in the backend.

Hi @dangousa,

No Smiley Happy

By hard coded I mean that your developer team made them directly in the files of Magento on your FTP server.

I think for the 3 small images (Shirts sale, etc) you will have to see CMS > Pages > Home and then click the tab "Editor", when this shows, click one time on the button WYSISYG editor, so you will see html code.

There should be 3 areas - one for each image + link destination.

Regardring old stuff under CMS > Pages / Static blocks, just make sure they are set to status "Inactive", that way the wont show up in the frontend of the shop.

You may also delete them, if not needed anymore.

Let me know if this helps Smiley Happy

Sorry for the late reply and thank you so much for you help.

I was able to find them and access the code, the only issue is that there seems to be a lot of

      <Template>

       <action>

       <block>

        <reference>

        and <action>

with no visable link + image destination.

Again any info well help, and thanks for the info you have already provided.
