Default Value of an Attribute in an Attribute Set

I am wanting to set a default value for the Weight attribute, but I don't want to set it for all attribute sets. I just want to set it for certain ones. I know I can set the default value for Weight, I just don't know if I can do it on certain sets. Is there a way of doing this?

You can get to choose default option in attributes options itself. goto Catalog->attributes->manage attributes select the appropriate attribute and go to manage label/options and select is default for the required value
