Hi! I am running a Magento with 2 stores. I wonder to know how to set different administration role in order to allow one administrator to admin one store only.
It seems that is possible to set a "Role Scope" (according to the online manual of Magento 2.0.7)
But I can not find that option on my admin panel.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance!
Federico
Hi you should be able to set the 'Role Scope' the specific website, and then under 'Role Resources' you can set it to 'All'.. Please bear in mind this role will not have the ability to change any global values
Many thanks Psoberg, for your quick answer.
I need further information.
I set to websites that I need to be administrated by different users. Attached are the two screen shots: the one with the Stores, and the one with the Roles (note that there is no 'Role Scope' pull-down menú). I am missing any setup?
Kind regards!
Federico
Unfortunately I can't see your screenshots as they only appear as triangles
Hi Psoberg, it seems that is necessary to be logged in at the forum in order to view the pictures instead of the triangles. Are you logged in? Thanks
Hey, yeah I'm logged in - it is a bit weird, I can see your screenshots now, but not from some other posts..
Ok, so yeah it looks like there's some funny going on - which browser are you using? Have you seen this issue on any other dropdowns in admin?
Hello. Did you solve the problem? I have the same and iam searching 3 days now without a solution.
I am facing the same issue as well
I am using magento 2.1.3
I tried with latest edition of chrome.
Can find the "Role Scope" section
Which version of Magento are you using CE or EE
Role scope is only available in EE
Role scope is a Magento EE feature and you'll need a third party extension to achieve this task if you are not on Magento EE
