Custom payment method not showing on checkout

Hello
I'm new to Magento payment modules. I'm struggling to add a custom payment method in Magento2. I've followed every tutorial I found and tried to make my own. I got the method configuration showing up on the admin panel. however, I can't seem to get it showing in the checkout page as a payment option for the customer.
I didn't code any logic yet and I'm not sure, but I think this issue is related to the method-renderer.

I would appreciate any kind of guidance for anything I'm doing wrong.
