Does Magento BI has a payment date or a paid date?
1. Sales_order table created_at is not always the datetime the order is paid. the updated_at column keeps updating when status changes.
2. Sales_payment_transaction table seems to have a date, but this date is more a refund date.
Can anyone point me to a right date?

Hi tessietpur18ff,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Given
1. Data model differs from Customer to Customer based on their business needs. However, Magento BI has 5 base tables from Adobe Commerce.
2. Orders table in Magento BI has dates that are related to the Order Creation & updates. In some cases, I have also seen payment tables but no date associated with it, as such.
Possible Solution
1. There are additional tables at source (Adobe Commerce) that store Payment information. Please create an Adobe Commerce support ticket to identify whether such tables & columns meeting your business requirement exist. Once done, such tables can be synched in Magento BI and necessary joins can be created to let you build BI reports.
2. Please create a support ticket with Magento BI so they can analyze & give you possible alternatives. Based on your Customer ID, they would be able to analyze existing tables in Magento BI & see if any additional tables containing payment information can be synched & joined suitably. If #1 above succeeds, there are more chances of Magento BI Support helping you with more accurate solution.
Hope this helps.
