Magento Business Intelligence (MBI) is a cloud-based system that can merge all your data sources and analytics software insights of your e-commerce business.
In simple words, it can collect all your data from one source and analyze your eCommerce business.
You can follow the ways below to activate/create an MBI account,
If you have a Magento Commerce Cloud Starter subscription, then follow the below ways,
- Log in to your Magento account and go to My Account > My MBI Instances > Create Instance.
- Select your type of subscription and Continue.
- Now, enter the registration data, verify your email address, and create a password.
- Fill the info about your Magento 2 store.
- Nextly, you need to create one more user here at https://account.magento.com.
- You will have to set the user as a Contributor to your project.
- Then get your MBI SSH keys. Go to the Connect your database page and locate Encryption settings.
- In the Encryption Type line, select SSH Tunnel.
- Don’t forget to save your Public Key.
- Go to your Contributor account and Go to Account Settings -> Add a public key. Enter the key that you have.
- Now, you must update .magento/services.yaml and .magento.app.yaml.
- Then, run echo $MAGENTO_CLOUD_RELATIONSHIPS | base64 --decode | json_pp to get information after connecting your database.
- Then, fill out the Connect your Magento database form in your account and set your timezone settings.
- Now, you have to enter your Encryption Settings. To get data, check your SSH access.
- Thus, you will find your Remote Address and Username.
- Lastly, save the Integration.
