I already know that I can use visual swatches with images when creating an attribute.
The problem is that adding images for all possible design variations for our products at the attribute level is not realistic.
I've seen Dainese use image swatches (http://www.dainese.com/we_en/super-speed-d1-perf-leather-91466.html) to great effect, but I can't imagine them adding all possible variations in an attribute.
So what I am asking is: Is there a way to add visual/image swatches on a per product basis, or maybe just automatically use the main image from the color/design variation when creating configurable products?
