Can Magento allow users to choose which shipping company they want for their delivery? UPS v USPS...

For whatever reason, a customer may prefer FedEx to USPS, or USPS to UPS, or so on. How do I enable Magento to present different shipping options as far as shipping or postal companies? I would like it if Magento would show how much each choice would cost for shipping as well right at the cart if possible. (We currently have an shipping cost estimation at the cart if a customer enters their U.S. postal code.)

Your clients will see the shipping options at checkout, it will also give you additional shipping quotes in the cart if you have those shippers enabled.
