Can Magento create individual groups with other products?

Dear Community,

I want to created individual groups for each client/customer.

[group client 1]

[group client 2]

Can i show every clientsgroup a different group of categorie products? (when logt-in).

Why this question?

I have 2 groups of products

[group 1 : cars]

[group 2 :  planes]

Now i want to show only the cars to client group 1 and the planes to group 2.

Hi @levistyl,

The right way of setting up two different product lines in Magento is by creating two separate stores.

Each store will have a different root category (with subcategories), and you can even have different URLs for each of your stores.

Thats not really the case. I just want to show all products, but a range of that products only to one group of customers.
