Can POS Solutions Aust software link into magento for more then one shop?

Has anyone linked this into many shops each running this software.

We tried it with magento 2.3 and we had immediate problems that the confirmation was not sent to any shop.

The answer is yes but based on this I am not sure whether the issue is in Magento, the POS Solutions Australia point of sale software or your email service.  

I would suggest you check your email service first.

POS Solutions POS software uses by default the current settings of your computer but almost always it is set to use the native POS Solutions email service.

I would say first check what email service is in use and if it uses the POS email client, reinstall it and try your test again. Click here for the instructions.
