Creating pickup delivery services for different laundry stores.

Hi, I'm new to Magento, I get how to create an online store and all but my product is a bit different and i was wondering if its possible to do it with Magento.

Essentially, my company wants to create a pickup and delivery service, where a customer can choose a laundry shop from a list of shops and set a time to pick his laundry up. something simmiler to www.foodpanda.co.th, instead of food it will be laundry.

if i can indeed do this with magento, can someone point me to the right direction??

Yes, it's possible. Since you're starting new store, it's better to start with Magento2 since Magento1 support drops in 2018.
