I need some expert advice. And if you are willing and proven to be knowledgeable i am happy to hire you for the role.
So, my client has a fashion e-commerce website on Magento 2 and is opening in a different country where he has a warehouse and will ship directly from there to locals.
He wants to duplicate the existing website and hand it over with a new Magento to the manager in this other country to upload his own stock. Is this a good way to do it?
Now my question is would he need to host on a new domain? or simply add "/countrycode" afer the domain name.
Also,
Our marketing efforts and social media are directing people to purchase a specific product. Is there a way to redirect people to the exact product on the other store depending on their geolocation?
For this example, i will talk as if we need a new domain
If i redirect my marketing effort so the user can view product "shoename123"
www.websitename.com.au/shoename123
and someone in the other country sees it and wants to view it. Is there a way to automatically redirect them to the exact product from their country?
www.webbsitename.co.nz/shoename123
Has anyone any experience in such things? am I approaching this correctly or would you suggest another approach?
