Some of the products I sell consist of two parts that each have its own SKU number: 'SKU A' and 'SKU B'. People can view and purchase SKU A, but not SKU B. If they purchase SKU A they also receive SKU B because it is a part of SKU A. Something similar could be if you purchase a pair of shoes. In that case you also expect to receive the shoelaces, but for some reason the seller has a unique SKU and inventory for the shoelaces.
Everytime someone purchase SKU A I need to deduct from inventory SKU B. The reason for this is that SKU B is a part that is used in several products. I mentioned that SKU B is used in SKU A, but it could also be used in SKU C, SKU G and so one.
Is this possible in Magento? I have looked at bit at bundled products, but it would require some changes to hide SKU B from the customer on the frontend and transactional emails. Is there an easier way of achieving this?
