Gift Card Promotions

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if any of the following promotions are doable in Magento?

"Buy a product, get a $XX gift card"
"Buy a $XX gift card, get a bonus amount of $XX added"

We are in the process of getting gift card functionality up and running and were hoping to do some of these types of promotions this holiday season.

Hi @WahooMac,

Since Gift Cards are a Magento Enterprise Edition, that is a functionality that is not included out-of-the-box.

However, I think you can implement a workaround by using this extension:

That extension allows you to select the product that the customer gets for free (in this case, the gift card).
