Header slider - change image

Hi, I am requiired to change on eof the images on the header slider of our home page. I am familiar with the folder for storing images for use in the blog page and also with adding images to products.

It seems the process is quite different for changing the slider images. Do I need to upload the images to a (skin....folder?) If so where is this? Am I able to upload these to the storage root folder and select using the wysiwyg method to insert the image?

This is the path of the image that I need to change <div data-src="{{skin url=''}}images/slider_pic3.jpg">

in our home page cms you can find the banner image using wysying editor you can upload the new image

Other wise you can using a slider extension its easily to access
