Help needed with error message

Hello, my site is down and I am getting the following error message: “Exception printing is disabled by default for security reasons.” How can I fix it? Also, any idea as to why this has happened.

Hello @The_Decurators ,

You need to check error log record number xxxxxxx. Error log files of Magento are generated in /var/report (Magento 1) and /var/log (Magento 2). You will need an FTP client like Filezilla to open the file and read error log.

Please share that file data with us then we'll help to resolve issue.
