How do I add AUD currency instead of USD

Hi. I am from Australia and trying to set up my shop through Magento. Unfortunately, the only currency unit showing is USD and I need to show AUD. I have set the country to Australia default but that didn't do anything. HELP!

Hello,

If you require the currency switcher let me know i can advise you how to set this up.

But to changing the default currency is a simple task.

Just navigate to your backend and

System -> Config -> Currency Setup -> Base Currency

You can change your default currency from system > Configuration > General > Currency Set up > Change base currency and default display currency to Australian Dollar.
