Hi there,
I currently running magento 2.3 and all my attribute products has their own barcode. These they all store under the simple product page. So my configurable product doesn't have barcode and MPN code. So this will cause me that my attribute products is not listing correctly in my google merchant account. they always shows error for those products. I know that by switch visibility to (catalog, search) or (search only) will allow me to access the simple products url. However our current site doesn't allow us to do that since we trying to keep the search result clean.
I also trying few extension that allow me to change product SKU when I change the attribute. However, the attribute doesn't really have any identified in the url, and they all going to be looks the same.
So how do you guys fix the GTIN problem with the magento 2
