I'm altering a 1.9.xx store.
The store is 'walled' within another main site and I'm wondering if the store can have just a password login without a login or the need for an account.
Any help appreciated,
Hi Kent. Thanks for the reply.
Yes the store ( Enterprise) is within a main site. Users have already logged on to that main site and are all members after vetting but they don't create an account. It would be good if they could just go straight to the store without an extra login, no need to raise an account and no guest forms to fill in. The store would just have a paypal system in the cart / checkout.
I've looked at bridging and tried one extension / plug in but it cracked the site so I've uninstalled it. Can't find a trusted one.
Hi again @guzzel,
Ok. You run a Magento Enterprise solution, and before your customers have access, then login, is this correctly understood ?
If so, then your customers already should have a login session in their url/browser, and your developer should be able to forward this session to the shop ?
I personally don't much about paypal, but it should be simple to use as a payment method, and in Magento CE paypal is already build in ?
