Product Feeds from third parties

Hi,

I have been offered the option of taking a product feed from a third party. Although they use Magento the feed is limited in what it provides.

The basics are that I have some of the products already on my site and I would like to mark them as In Stock or Out of Stock, based on their feed.

- They do not provide me with quantity, just the status.

-The format is in xlsx

- I dont wish to update all my products only a select few

- I need to automate this in some way made with an ETL tool to strip the data out I need?

Does anyone do something similar and have any suggestions around methods?

Hi @christopher_bil 

do you want to show out of stock product in your website ?
you can show this from admin.
Go to Stores > Configuration > Catalog > Inventory > Stock Options.
