Does Magento have purchase management? Can the admin enter the actual purchase cost of the product and then the selling price, discounts etc so that we can calculate the profit.

Hi @pradeepa_chelladurai

Yes - on the backend when you click on the advanced pricing on the product edit page - there is one field called COST  - you can enter the purchased cost over there

Selling price will be a actual price field - so its different then cost.

COST field value never showcased on the frontend - as its used for backend/admin purpose only !

But to calculate the profit - i think you will required to create a custom report based on your custom logic !
