Replicate color attriubutes

How do I do something like this in Magento?

There's 2 color attributes in this item, "Black" and "White" I can set a configurable product to hold both "Black" and "White". Will there be any data inconsistency if I replicate another configurable product to hold "White" and "Black"?

Hypothetically, there may be hundreds of configurable products in your store that come in black and white.. But they would have different IDs, names, URLs, etc. 

What exactly are you trying to achieve here?
