Affiliate extension with coupon code tracking for Magento 1.x

We need an affiliate program extension for Magento 1.x that can track referral sales based on coupon codes (Referral Coupon)

The way it would work is that each affiliate would have their unique coupon code that they can give out, allowing their audience to get a discount and the sales from these would then be allocated the the affiliate's account.

There are plenty of Magento 2.x extensions that do exactly that, but haven't found any that work with Magento 1.x

They have both a hosted version and an on-premise version. If you don't want to pay the monthly fees for the hosted version, the on-premise is a good option. It's not as cheap as some Magento extensions, but you get what you pay for: https://www.postaffiliatepro.com/standalone-pricing/

Another major benefit is, that when you eventually grow beyond Magento 1, you should have an easier time keeping your affiliate program intact. If you used some random M1 extension, you could have a hard time exporting your affiliate data and getting it into another affiliate plugin or system, such as one that's compatible with Magento 2. Working with the data could cost more than what you'd have spent purchasing Post Affiliate Pro.
