I would like to add a possibility for customers to change the visible tax percentage of products on shop's frontend by selecting their country. Because of the new OSS (One-Stop-Shop) regulation in EU shops might need to start selling products with different tax percentages depending on customer's location and I would like to make it possible for customers to see the correct tax percentage before the shopping cart or checkout.
If we have some default tax percentage in use and it is different that customer's location's tax percentage it might irritate or even scare off customers because the final tax percentage at the checkout is different that the one used on product page.
It would be helpful for the customer to be able to see the final product price on the product page and maybe also on category page. So a country selection or such could work. Maybe it could work a bit like shipping estimator? Is there such an extension?
