Need a plugin or extension that shows a different price when added to the cart.

My client has certain manufacturers that won't allow you to sell the products at a discount.  You can only show the discount once the product is added to the cart.  There is a way to set this in Magento but this caused our cart to redirect to the wrong page.  Does anyone know of an extension to do this?

This is the instruction to do this through magento settings which did not work.
