Ok, I explored many different options and searched through different suggestions and reviews in the internet, and I think I'm going to give Kayako's solutions a try. They have a live chat software, but I also noticed that they have a knowledge base software that will be a good match for my business: https://www.kayako.com/help-desk-software/knowledge-base
As they offer me a 14-day free trial, I will test it for a while and report back, because I'd like to see how well both solutions work, because I want to bring my customers a better customer support, and I think that the live chat functionality + knowledge base help center will give me an edge.

LiveChat has an integration with Magento and it works pretty well. The integration is free, you only need to pay for the application (https://marketplace.magento.com/livechat-livechat-inc.html).
