When will the Magento 2 Shipworks extension be released?

After delaying our new site launch for many months, we are considering changing our shipping solution due to the delayed release of this extension.

Can anyone provide some insight on the timeline for the Magento 2 Shipworks extension availability?

Amasty, I appreciate your advice. The most important feature that I am looking for is the availability to use ShipWorks with my new Magento2 site. I'm not sure that I can carve out specifics. If this extension can't be given a targeted release date then I may be forced to alter the way that we process our orders. My alternatives are in different software or manual processing. I am not a enchanted by either.

ShipWorks tells me that their extension release is in Magento's hands. I'm inquiring to understand that process and timeline better.
