allowing customers to upload images

Hi there,

Wondering if there is and extension available that allows customers to upload, and then view an image.  I've seen one extension that allows customers to select a file to upload, but its very basic, and doesn't allow them the view it once uploaded to the site.

We run a printing company, and would like to have customers upload their images, and even better, allow them to size and edit (crop, add boarders, etc.) while seeing real time changes to the image, then save once they are satisfied with how it looks.

Hi @jake_hawley,

Maybe you can start here https://marketplace.magento.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=upload#q=upload&idx=m2_cloud_prod_default_pr...

Re: allowing customers to upload images

Checkout the following 2 extensions. I hope one of them will give you what you want.

Magento 2 Photo Gallery Extension: This extension allows you to attach and display images on your product pages. The images can be displayed in attractive albums. You can also create a separate photo gallery page. The images are showed in attractive lightbox. It offers many other useful features.

Magento 2 Media Gallery Extension: This extension allows you to upload images as well as videos of multiple formats to your product, category & CMS pages. You can upload images and videos from your local device or embed from external source such as YouTube etc. The videos are displayed in attractive lightbox.

Re: allowing customers to upload images

Searching upload is actually where i started before making this post, These all seem to be things for the backend, and intended to help the site owner update pages, not for customers to actually upload their own images to the site on the front end.

Re: allowing customers to upload images

thanks, but both of these appear to be for the site owner / developer to upload images / videos.  not a customer.

Hi @jake_hawley,

What Magento are we talking about, 1 or 2?

For M1 there is an extension here.

For M2 there is this option available.

Check them out!
