metric and imperial measurement choice when ordering wooded products

Hi All,

This is my first post so hopefully some can help me.

I am looking for an extension that will provide the option to choose product sizes in either metric or imperial where the price is calculated live on screen as a result of the difference of an order being placed in feet OR in meters (or inches and centimetres).

I don't think I’ve been looking up the right keywords to find one that already exists (obviously because I haven’t found one yet).

Keywords that i think might best describe what I’m looking for:

- choose product measurement type buy drop down

- imperial/metric product measurement converter

- interdenominational product size selection

If there is not an extension that does this, can anyone suggest a means by which I might achieve this?

If I understand you correctly:

1. A text input field for numbers with dropdown, default cm: [ ] |--cm--|
   
2. Fill in 3.....................: [3] |--cm--| => 3cm * $2 per cm => $6
   
3. You change to inch............: [3] |-inch-| => 7.62cm @ $1 per cm => $15.24
   

Is that correct? In that case, I'm reasonably sure Mico Solutions' extension is what you need. Not sure if it updates automatically in the form,
