Clicking "Install" does nothing

Hi,

Im trying to install this extension http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/magento-official-portuguese-translation.html

But in the connect manager, when I paste the key and click install, nothing happens, just a brief "Please wait" message that disapears after one second, and the extension is not installed. I tried with other extensions and the same thing happens.

Aparently everything is okay:

I tried redownloading a fresh downloader folder, giving full permissions, but no deal, still cant install any extension.
