Here is the brief rundown:
In ShipWorks, add store > Select Magento 2 and enter the Token and Module URL so that ShipWorks can communicate with your Magento 2 store:
o Token (obtained by following the steps provided by Magento)
o Module URL (something like http://yourstorename/rest/v1/shipworks)
o Store code (optional, if entering more than one Magento store)
Here are more detailed instructions:
After installing the extension from Magento Marketplace...
Return to the admin dashboard.
System > Integration > Add New Integration > Create a Name (name it whatever you would like to name it) > Enter the admin password > Save.
Locate the name you just created > Edit > API > Check the box next to sales to select all roles associated with Sales. > Integration info> Enter admin password > Save.
Activate > Verify that that Sales roles are selected > Allow
Copy the “Access Token”. The Access Token will be entered in the “Token” field in the ShipWorks application.
Phase 2: Open ShipWorks and add your Magento 2 store.
Note: You will need ShipWorks installed to complete this step.
1. In ShipWorks go to the Manage tab, select Stores and and click the Add Store button.
2. Choose Magento in the drop down and click Next.
3. Select “Magento2.”
4. Enter the Access Token that you just created in Magento2.
5. Obtain and enter the Module URL. (Typically modeled something like http://yourstorename/rest/v1/shipworks) then click Next
*Enter the store code if entering more than one Magento 2 store
6. Enter your store information, then click Next.
7. Enter your store contact information, then click Next
8. Select your preferences for how to process Magento2 orders in ShipWorks, then click Next. If you are unsure which preferences to select, use the default options and call our customer support team for further assistance. 1-800-952-7784.
Continue entering the requested information, clicking Next to proceed to each next screen.
When you click Finish, ShipWorks will automatically download your first batch of orders. The first batch may take a while, but subsequent downloads will not take as long.
