Re: image button and browse file are missing

Hi @gerson_magento,

First try to open admin with another browser and then check.
If the above step doesn't work then try to disable custom extensions you have installed and then try if it's working or not.

Was my answer helpful? You can accept it as a solution.

I also had this problem using Firefox. Using Google Chrome , without installing other plugins, I solved this problem . Sorry for bad English

Re: image button and browse file are missing

In my case,  I was using SSL connection on CDN. Upload image button disappear. After reading this post and installing following plugin  https://github.com/openstream/No-Flash-Image-Uploader.git

solved issue for upload and browsing.

Re: image button and browse file are missing

You may have started to experience this issue when adding in one of the magento patches.

Supee 8788 removed flash files that posed a threat. The upload buttons are flash based so applying a patch that wasn't completed fully may be the explanation as to why you can see upload file button.

Simple solution is to re apply the patch and ensure that its done fully.

Alternately you could re add the flash files again which would be in:

/skin/adminhtml/default/default/media/flex.swf
/skin/adminhtml/default/default/media/uploader.swf
/skin/adminhtml/default/default/media/uploaderSingle.swf
