My name is Mike White and I too am a new member of this board and the Magento Commmunity. I plan on developing a comprehensive Magento tutorial series. Since I am new to the software but an extremely experienced developer, I should be covering things at a very basic level while still providing knowledge that even advanced users will appreciate.

although magento is not easy to learn and u might need a good trainer for it but you are a wordpress developer and if you have good knowledge of that then surely that will help you in learning magento.
