Errors while installing Magento, please help!!

Hi there,

Its almost 24hrs and i have been trying to install Magento but with no sucess. It will be nice if someone could help me please. I installed the Magento 1.9.1.0 but during configurtaion, i get this error message

• PHP Extensions "pdo_mysql" must be loaded.

I used softaculous to auto install Magento 1.9.1.0 and then used Filezilla to install the sample data so i am not sure where i went wrong

I genuinely appreciate your help .

Hi,

The issue with your php module which isn't iunstalled.  You need to install pdo_mysql module for php.

If you are using ubuntu you can try:

sudo apt-get install php5-gd php5-mysql

I was able to login but images on my website are not showing. My website is www.vigohairextension.com and i have checked that the media in Sample data has been uploaded, maybe not correctly

Hi maya,

Check .htaccess file in the media directory and also check media settings to resolve image issue. and also check this link as well
