How to display the configurable products with attributes on invoices

Hello, I have several configurable products on my bills are simple products that appears. I would like to add configurable products with attributes on invoices and in the back office of magento how to do this?

Thank you for your help. I have several configurable product, associated with simple products. When a customer places an order on my site, the sku of the simple product appears on the invoice. I would like to show the configurable product with attribute such as color, size on invoices and not the simple product sku
