I have question on magento installing. so i need a help to solve it ! I tried this on localhost . XAMPP I used apache server and i changed the listening port of apache to port 81. And all things are going well. Then i install magento. i Proceed with normal installation procedure of magento. but in the configuration panel, BASEL URL : 127.0.0.1 Localhost : localhost:81 and i already created the magento database and user name and given those details too. but it doesn't work well. at the left bottom corner of the browser shows ' Waiting for the localhost' and after near 10 mins it loads again the configuration panel ! Can you please help me to solve this ? ** I am using latest version of magento and xampp !
