Installing Magento in root folder
Hello,
I've followed this tutorial to set up magento on debian via SSH. However, my Magento is currently located on ServerIP/shop/ and I have absolutely no idea how to make it appear when user goes to ServerIP ( e.g somedomain.com, ip address in my case )
Thank you!

Re: Installing Magento in root folder
I apologize for delayed reply but I have solved this issue. I've been working on my magento store for a few days and there were no significant issues. However, today after creating one empty folder and chmoding it the whole domain is blank. Also, some commands such as 'vi', 'vim', 'find' and more are not working anymore ( Debian - SSH ).
I'm not sure what is causing the blank page and I cannot access php files or txt files cause of some commands are not being recognized.
