It may be easier just to copy the content of the Paypal block and hardcore it into your footer.phml.
Make sure you create a new footer.phtml in your new sub theme.
Really strange, all of a sudden today, its not displaying at all. I refreshed the cache, nothing seems to make a difference.
I delete the paypal.xml from my sub....and it shows back up.
So obviously some other setting is impacting it.
Suggestions?
I deleted and was able to get it back.... not sure what happened.
Nonetheless, I'm not sure what I need to do as far as copying the blocks....
I'm still not sure I'm following you Connor on the copying of the blocks.
