At my wits end with this. Have installed and reinstalled a dozen times at this stage. I keep getting caught at the same part in Readiness Check

Hi @Sticky_Business 

This issue sometimes accur due to low memory limit. As per magento guidelines available memory should be minimum 2GB. Please check your server's memory and if it is lower then increase it upto 2GB. Then retry to install magento.

limit is 2.1gb

I think it is default Magento issue see below bug report on Github.

Thanks for the link, i have changed the limit to 2.1gb, but still no success.

I'm on GoDaddy hosting with 2.32 and 2gb and same issue. Fresh install and cannot pass Component Dependency. Therefore, no new extensions, etc. Posting here so if solved, I'll hear as well. Thanks.
