Hi guys
I am a magento Noob here, managed to navigate the install process and activate required php extensions etc. It all said it loaded and installed fine, and works fine to login to the admin and view the shop (I installed the sample data). .. however
1) on the store front, next to "Search Entire Store Here" there are broken images
2) in the store admin, there are heaps of broken images (for example, the main links down Left hand side-dashboard, sales, products etc and also links in the page content itself...
I took a look and it seems they are a tags with classes on them, so perhaps the css is misreferencing some images/icons or a font?
My store is located at: http://mylocalhost/mysubfolder/magentoproject
In the DB the config value for base url is:
http://mylocalhost/mysubfolder/magentoproject/
It doesn't seem to be a mod rewrite issue as all the pages are working in the nav structure and the content images load fine ..???
Perhaps the sample data install file I downloaded was incomplete???
