Installing on local Xampp never finishes

After completing all the steps and actually install the following happen:
1. This stage never finishes
2. When trying to go to the site(in my case http://localhost/magento/) I get "An error has happened during application run. See exception log for details"
3. The database is completely empty without any table
Any idea?

Please make sure you have enable all required extension

Dear Sir,

Unfortunatelly the phenomena repeats after trying to install with another version of Magento.

Is there any error log for the installation?
