Hope someone has the answer to this problem that's driving me nuts
I'm trying to do a local install on a Win 10 o/s using WAMP
using the off the shelf Magento 2.1.7 with data, everything goes great until actually going into the admin area for the first time, when I get the the folowing message
- One or more indexers are invalid. Make sure your Magento cron job is running
Having already installed the same version albeit with data onto a remote Apache server I know how to drop into a console window and reindex, so I thought this would be the same. Sadly this only seemed to make things worse, the reindex just made the index freeze on "processing" and even resetting and trying again did not solve the issue, nor did clearing all cache.
Can anyone confirm whether the current configuration is the problem, i.e WIn 10 with WAMP on 8080 and SQL on 3307 is the problem.
One last thing, when looking at PHP --ini the response is not the PHP version or location I would expect to see i.e. PHI ini from the wamp server, instead the PHP ini from the iis express installation.
I hope all this makes sense and someone has a solution.
