Agreed with previous poster. Magento is by far the most enraging and unpleasant ecommerce framework I've ever worked with. No matter which method is used to install the system, there is an endless number of random gotchas and mind-numbing configuration details to learn and navigate. I've spent more than a week mired in endless problems and the system is still not working properly yet as I am now trapped in the dreaded "too many redirects" bug.
As other ecommerce frameworks grow in popularity, all these usability problems will become a major competitive disadvantage for Magento.
