Magento 2 admin not found returning 404 and folder not created

The installation was successful and got the installed success screen.

After i pressed launch admin button im getting the 404 not found error . 

After checking the /var/www/html/ directory i couldn't find the magento or magento/admin directory ..

Magento 2 does not have the admin directory: it is just a virtual path. If it is not working then it is your webserver problem (Apache, Nginx, etc.).
