If you're in the process of migration Magento 1.x store to Magento 2.x, or have completed one already, I would like to hear from you which tools did you use, what works, what doesn't. What's the process that you were following for that? The last one - what was the most challengeable for you?
Looking forward for your inputs!

If you don't have YouTube at your disposal (work/phone) Use this guide that I've found works awesome! A few things you can do. I got this tutorial off of an awesome LinkedIn Magento 2 group (they replied the answer quick) https://www.linkedin.com/groups/6982394
1. There's a free tool out that will do it for you. No strings attached and I've heard from good things about it

2. Most positives than negatives in your case =)
Magento 2.0 is become important to provide support for migrating Merchants from Magento 1 to Magento 2.0. There will be many aspects to migration – extensions, themes, custom development, and data. Since Magento 2.0 has a different architecture and database design. It means that every 1.x extension must be completely redeveloped in order to be compatible with the 2.0 version.
If you want to migrate some of your extensions, you might need to install these extensions adapted for Magento 2. Connect with your extension providers to see if they have been ported yet. Custom code is not ported because it cannot be automated. Some Third-party extensions will have to be replaced by versions that are compatible with Magento 2.
Some Benefits of Magento 2.0:
A different way I used to do migration process from magento 1.9 to 2.0 is automated tool, not manually migration. http://tinyurl.com/grpxncs You have just finished a full migration, after that old Magento is still live and continue getting new data, and you want to get your new Magento updated with the new data, this feature to avoid starting over again.
