Multi-tenancy or Multi site support in Mangeto 2

Hey guys, 

I am not sure if I am asking this question in the right forum, but any help would be awesome. 

I am exploring magento 2 and looking to see if supports multi-tenancy aka multi-site (in some parts of the world). If yes, is there an extension that would help me achieve this? Also, what would be the deployment architecture for this?

Any help would be great.
