Hi Magento Community,
I currently have a cake website built on WordPress, but I’m planning to migrate it to Magento. Right now, the website looks like a typical eCommerce store with direct product listings. However, I’ve realized that many customers need to learn more about our cake flavors, colors, designs, and customization options before making a purchase.
I’m considering switching to a service-style page that educates customers about our offerings, showcases design inspirations, and explains the customization process, followed by a seamless ordering experience.
Would this approach work well in Magento? Should I blend service-oriented content with eCommerce features or keep them separate? I’d appreciate any insights or recommendations from anyone with experience in Magento store design.
Thank you in advance!
Magento is flexible enough to handle this approach. You can create a visually appealing homepage with sections dedicated to showcasing your flavors, designs, and customization process, followed by a "Shop Now" button to guide users into the eCommerce flow. Just make sure the navigation is intuitive so customers can easily move between learning about your services and placing an order.
