Unable to enter public keys in Braintree Configuration of Magento admin module

I am unable to enter public keys in Braintree Configuration of Magento admin module

Steps to reproduce

1. Login to Magento admin
2. Go to Stores - Configuration - Sales - Payment methods
3. Click Configure on Braintree
4. There is no option to enter keys
5. There is an error in Magento logs - report ERROR Braintree Configuration publicKey needs to be set.
